Hello,

Thought I’d start a thread for anyone having their transfers this month. I’m day 2 today for a FET so have started letrozole and will have a scan on Monday to monitor follicle growth progress. This is our final embryo for this round so I’m feeling pretty anxious.

Would love to have others to speak to on this journey!

You’re doing well to be day 5. I think that’s normally when I start to get tempted to start testing…

Yes, I had my scan this morning and all going in the right direction so I’ve got to take ovulation tests now and a scan on Wednesday morning to continue monitoring.

I’ve come down with a horrrrrible cold. So that’s great.

I did a medicated fet cycle so it seems its beed the longest time. I was very tempted to test but scared I ll get a negative.

Glad your scan went well. Do you have an idea when they will transfer or is it too early to tell?

How are you getting on?

Transfer is next Thursday as I’ve triggered tonight so all systems go now. Have you felt like you’ve got to try and do everything the same this time?

This is our last embryo so I’m trying to stay calm because I don’t know what this will mean for us if it doesn’t work.

Good luck for your transfer next Thursday. I totally get it its our last embryo as well so hoping for the best. We still havent tested yet im very scared im on day 9 ppst and next to no symptoms apart from an odd twinge and cramp. I tried to rest as much and do a lot of the things the same but couldn’t really. Still hoping for the best.

Hey @spring22 I’m so sorry it’s not worked out for you. How are you feeling? It’s so disheartening…

I’m day 1 post transfer today and just trying to keep calm to be honest. I have no expectations but I find being hopeful quite hard after experiencing previously failed transfers and a miscarriage. I tend to focus on negatives which I know is unhelpful.

It’s been a rollercoaster. Test day is next Wed. I’m only day 8 but I usually test day 9. I reallly don’t think I want to know the answer.

When’s your appointment? We’re in the same boat. Will have to be looking at a new cycle after this. We’ve just been lucky enough to have a cycle on the nhs so all the financial stuff will be a new mountain climb to add the others. Hopefully not though.

My test this morning was negative. I would usually get a positive now so I think I’m out.

Ugh im so sorry, its so difficult after everything we go through. Im in the same boat with all the financial burden of another cycle and probably would have to do a lot of tests before as well since its been a while. I have my consultant app today so we ll see how it goes.

Yes, same. Our first cycle started in 2022 and I’m 35 now. Hope it goes well. You’ve done well to get in so quickly. My clinic has a big waiting time on reviews.

We did ours in 2023 and im now turning 33. We had a long wait for the review as well. We had the review so they basically think it was a combination of having low progesterone levels and the difficulty to transfer due to the c section scar. Doesn’t really help as not much we can do about apart from supplemental progesterone l. They also said a possibility of a mock transfer mid cycle. Waiting for some documents to be uploaded now so we can decide what to do next

It’s great they’re giving you answers. What made them think low progesterone? Did you do a medicated FET?

Did they discuss cost etc? Sorry loads of questions from me.

Yeah they just sent the cost estimates over the app last Friday. Haven’t decided what to do next, we are moving out of the UK so it makes everything so much harder. I’ve booked some tests the doctor at care suggested we take before and thats it. How about you how are you doing?

Oh man, that’s an added complication isn’t it? Have you considered whether you’d look to set up at a clinic abroad or would you be able to easily travel back and forth?

I am still waiting for our consultation. I think I’m in denial to be honest and am just putting off dealing with the fact we’ve got to start from scratch. The money issue is something I’m really struggling to wrap my head around too. Without having had any cost estimates yet, it’s very difficult to start to process what comes next for us. All I know is I’m not ready to accept that this is it for us and I suppose that will be our driving force…
