Hi Kelly my blood test came out showing low thyroid still can not start my treatment. Feel broken part of me has had enough. Will my luck ever change.

Ohh no I’m gutted for you! Do they have a plan to try and get it right?
Maybe for mental health purposes you put the ivf on hold while you get your thyroid sorted, just to take the pressure off a little.
I read that diet can help with thyroid, I’m not sure if it actually works though. Are you trying anything like that? Xx

Hi Kelly i have had my IVF on pause since beginning of the year. I did ask the question if i change my diet or having certain food and my consultant said does not make a difference. I really don't know what to do anymore, i cant seem to see the lighting end of the tunnel. I never thought it would be this hard to have a baby. That all i want.

I know it’s so hard, it’s such a helpless feeling. Have they advised how long the process usually takes on average to get your levels right? Any Facebook groups or anything where people have had similar experiences and share what has worked for them? I just have everything crossed for you, I hope it’s not much longer. x

Hi Kelly i had to redo my bloods agin in few weeks time and hope it improved. I not joined no groups, I'm
Seeing a private consultant for my thyroid costs me £100 each time i see him which is every 6 weeks at the moment just following his advice. When i was told i had under active i did change my diet and eat what tick tock said and google but it never made a difference. I feel my body is being very stuborn at the moment. I do appreciate you checking in on me. Its very sweet of you. Xx

Hi Kelly how you and the little man doing? I have started my day 1 as last. Fingers crossed my lining grows this time top, really struggle with my lining each time I do my transfer.

We’re good! He’s started sitting up now. Just waiting to hit 6 months on 24th to start solids! He’s also at a frustrated stage as he wants to be moving and getting things he can’t! I don’t think it will be long before he’s crawling which is exciting x

I had paid for another egg collection if i had not this would have been it for me. I cannot see it ever working for me. My dream of being a mum will never come true.

So you still have embryos left? Was your lining at optimum levels etc or do you have to wait for consult to understand if there is any indication as to what to adjust moving forward?
I’m gutted for you and can understand you feeling that way, hopefully care have some suggestions x

Hi Kelly thats a very poor embryo i have left. Due to my body weight apparently is normal for my size of women not to have 7mm lining how true that is .

Im not expecting lot from care this time. I have done all the tests out there that they asked. Took the extra vitamins too. Just want to do egg collection and get this all out of the way. Hope i will have atlest one embryo to transfer.

Im well gone start my egg collection meds end of December and have the collection in January. My consultant has changed the protcol will have new meds which i will be taking this time too.

Hey! We’re good, just got back from Thailand yesterday Started crawling while we were there!

Aaaww crawling stage has began that will be fun. When do you go back to work? I don't know how to feel just taking each day as it comes at the same time just scared what if this last chances does not work. What will do after that.

I had my final egg collection last month and had a fresh transfer done on the 19 January. I tested positive on 31 January which i was surprised about but so grateful getting a positive. My sympthomes have not been great just bloated and feeling light headed. Not sure if that is caused by all the meds i am taking.
I did another test this morning hoping it would show 3 weeks plus. But still show 2-3 which is what i got on the 31 jan. As U can imagine i been thinking all sorts. Waiting for care to contact me. I so need this to work have my baby in my arms so scared.

Ohh that’s amazing news! I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you! Try not to do anymore tests it will make anxiety worse. Honestly I didn’t have many real pregnancy symptoms until I was around 6-7 weeks!
I’m ok, been back at work since January so feeling the blues, missing spending time with baby but I have to work. Xx
