Hi all, I went for a scan and a blood test yesterday. Results were all okay and I am starting the lubion injection and pessaries tomorrow morning. I have another blood test next week and if all okay frozen embryo transfer will be on the 16th. I haven't done the injections in a while so a bit nervous. Last time they only prescribed me the pessaries but my body wasn't absorbing them properly and they cancelled the cycle, the day before the transfer. I was devastated. I am hoping everything will be okay this time.

The abbreviations get confusing at times....FET = Frozen Embryo Transfer (I believe), TWW = Two Week Wait, ER = Egg Retrieval..i had to google them a lot of the time

Unfortunately the test was faulty I’ve used clear blue early detection.
I think I’ll wait until the actual test day now

I feel slightly guilty in caving and testing early (my OTD is Monday). I've been getting quite a few aches/cramps that felt like period pains but less intense, however they ramped up yesterday and once I got home from work I caved and took a early test which showed as positive. So I'm going to try and not test again until Monday now and try to not get my hopes up.

If you don't mind me asking, what date after transfer did you realise you had a chemical pregnancy? I'm all new to this so it's a bit of an unknown territory.

Well I will make you feel better about testing early! I always test early. I lasted till day 7 this time. Last time when it was a chemical I was tested from around the same time. I tested every other day from day 5 (or maybe ever other) and every day it just got lighter and lighter x

Congratulations! When is your first scan?
I am finding the injections difficult at times but trying to take each day as it comes. I feel quite tired and finding it difficult to get out of bed some mornings. I don't know if these are side effects from the oestrogen and progesteron. I am waiting for a phone call from the nurses this morning to let me know if the blood test is okay and if we can go ahead with the transfer tomorrow.

The meds definitely make me more tired and I know what you mean about the injections. I’m struggling to find spots where it’s not bruised and sore at the moment. I just take it a day at a time too and keep thinking about why I am doing them x

Today my younger brother and his wife announced that their 3rd child is on way. She's 14 weeks.
I feel like a total loser. I really feel low of myself right now.
We just had our baby's funeral in August.

Is that scan with Care? I wasn't sure of the process after the TWW (if stays a positive). Or how the treatment differs at all for private vs NHS funded cycles.

Is that scan with Care? I wasn't sure of the process after the TWW (if stays a positive). Or how the treatment differs at all for private vs NHS funded cycles.

I only have experience as a private patient but yes scan is at care. It’s usually about 3 weeks after test date and if all ok they discharge you from there care then x
