Not long to go! I think I must have the last scan!

I know what you mean about convincing yourself something is wrong. My day goes pretty much like this: I feel pregnant, I don’t feel pregnant AT ALL there must be a problem to I feel pregnant again. Repeat.

I feel the same. Well actually I just don’t feel pregnant at all. Last pregnant cycle at this time I had major bloating & was very gassy but haven’t even got that this time hoping something kicks in soon. What symptoms did you have wishfulthinking & how far along are you? X

Mostly a lot of cramps and what I’m assuming was round ligament pain, and so bloated! My boobs have been sore all the way through the process because of the progesterone so can’t really count that as a symptom I don’t think! I’m 5 weeks 2 days today! It’s so stressful isn’t it, overthinking everything! X

It is so stressful! Don’t you wish you could just had a little window to peek into your tummy all the time & check everything is ok will you book a scan between your care one & 12 week one? X

It is thankfully - it’s at 9.30 so I’m pleased about that! If they ever offer me a scan before 7 weeks again I think I’d definitely decline it as it’s caused a lot more worry than reassurance! They did say there was a risk they wouldn’t be able to see anything when they booked it in (other than checking it’s in the right place) but I just kind of hoped they would see more

That window sounds great - I think we could all use one of those haha. X

I think my food aversions had kicked in this time last time but don’t seem to be having any which is worrying me. I’ll eat anything…

I’ll be 7+5 at my scan which I think is late but it’s exactly the same as last time so don’t know if my clinic like to leave it as late as poss.

Either way, the nerves are starting to kick in now.

That’s it, it’s a bit like doing a pregnancy test early there’s so much that can change so quickly & a lot of the time it just makes you more anxious 24 hours to go for you though! I’ll be thinking of you x

You’d have to book privately and pay, if you Google no doubt there will be a few places near you that do them I did last time & I think it was about £70. Well worth it for me as I’m impatient haha & it’s nice to see the little bean again for reassurance x

Maybe they’ll kick in in a couple of days or maybe this cycle will just be different, as they can be! Im the same as you though, comparing it to last cycle. I track literally everything on my Flo app so keep looking back on it and panicking!

I do think it’s good to have a later scan really. As much as I want to know ASAP & I feel like I’ve been waiting an age, what’s there will be pretty definite by over 7 weeks. Praying it’s good news for us all x

Oh I know, it’s a different language! Ah that’s brilliant with the Clearblue weeks definitely take it as a win! My pregnancy test lines & Clearblue weeks have had much better progression this time the last, so I’m praying it means something too. Just praying the scan is ok!

That sounds sensible we are going to try to wait until 12 weeks to tell close family & friends & I will tell work. & then other people we know we might wait a bit longer yet. We just really want to have that normal announcement like everyone else seems to at 12 weeks & I think we’d feel a bit more relaxed telling people then than earlier on. & I know what my mum is like if I tell her too early she’ll be worrying & stressing just as much as me x

Hey. Ah I’m sorry to hear it’s unsettling you & can completely sympathise. 5+2 is still so early & we just over analyse everything when we find out early with IVF. People with natural pregnancies don’t feel any different for weeks on end. But I totally get it’s hard not to compare as I’m doing the same. Had your test line darkened? I decided to use my last FRER Sunday night at 6 weeks and it was a super dye stealer with diluted wee which I guess is good but I just want some symptoms! I convinced myself this morning I felt a bit uneasy after my morning cuppa but really I think I just drank it too quickly my scan is a week today & it feels like forever away still! How long til yours? X

I did another care test that I had left over and it was much darker than the one I did last Thursday. It feels an age since last Thursday but actually it was only 5 days ago… I think moving house has made us feel so busy it feels like weeks have passed but they really haven’t.

My scan isn’t for another 2 and a half weeks, so really have got ages to go!

Hey, ah that’s great news! & perfect timing for the 3+!

I have actually had some nausea the last 2 mornings which I was way too excited about as I’ve never had it before I felt like I was going to throw up yesterday morning at home and then today at work about 10 ish I had a mild & brief wave of nausea. As awful as it sounds I hope it continues & gets worse! I think it will reassure me x

I leave work at midday tomorrow as we are off to Brighton for the weekend, we’ve got a wedding reception on the Saturday. It’s a free bar apparently so my husband will be taking advantage of that while I’m on the mocktails we’re back Sunday afternoon & then my scan is Tuesday at 11:30. It has felt like forever!! But we’re finally on the home straight.

We’re going to Cornwall for a week on Sunday with family, and then it’ll be a week to the scan. The new house is keeping us busy too.

I haven’t really had any sickness since earlier in the week annoyingly. My boobs have definitely grown but it the lack of major symptoms is making me nervous x

It’s strange how they come & go isn’t it, and really doesn’t help with the anxieties & over thinking!

I have just had work today which was busy luckily so flew by, going to work from home tomorrow before the scan as well so the morning should go fairly quickly… I can’t believe it’s finally here! So nervous!

Hey, congrats! You are a day behind me then as I am 7+1 today It seems pretty common to not have much in terms of symptoms at this point but it doesn’t help with the worrying does it!

I’m losing my mind today as I’ve started bleeding… I bled ever so slightly around 6 weeks last time but it was much much lighter than this.

To make it worse, I’m on holiday with family so can’t really hide.

Are you able to go to an EPU while you’re away? Totally understand how worrying this is but I have read so many people having a bleed early on & all being ok. I’ve got everything crossed for you x
