Hi all,

Thought I’d set up a thread for those of us due to have scans in June.

I only got my official BFP today so haven’t yet got a date for my scan, but timings wise it will be in June.

Anyone else got a scan in June!? Be lovely to spend this time waiting together!

Hi everyone, so I just wondered if anyone has ever had this before with a success story. My wife and I have been going through IUI for the past 2 years and finally on May 18th our third cycle gave us a BFP and we were elated ! Skip to yesterday we had our 7 week scan and everything was there but couldn’t see a heartbeat. We have been asked to go back next Tuesday for another scan to see if there is a heartbeat. I’ve done the worst thing and googled it and all I can see is bad news. My heart is telling me it’s over and we have lost our little one. Is there anyone out there who can explain if there is a chance the heartbeat was just missed ? Or if it’s more than likely we need to expect the worst x

Sorry to hear you and your wife are going through a worrying time. I’ve not had my early scan yet so I’m not really sure what to expect, but I’m sure I read somewhere that sometimes it can be too early to see the heartbeat.

Do you think your wife was 7 weeks exactly on the day of the scan? What did the nurse say when they couldn’t see the heartbeat?

I know it’s hard, but I’d really try to remain positive, and stay away from Google if you can.

Hi Guys first time posting. I had my positive one the 8 June was convinced it was going to be negative. I had my scan in three weeks time. I been getting leg pains all night anyone else had these kind of sympthomes?

Oh wow, that must been a lovely surprise when you saw the result, MSS!

No leg pain here I’m afraid but nothing seems to surprise me with all the different symptoms I’m hearing others have.

My scan is this coming Thursday 15th. So so nervous about it but also really want to have it as well. This wait definitely feels worse than the 2WW although at the same time, it also feels like the time has been passing quite quickly.

Thats great you must be excited for your scan on Thursday. Yes definitely the waiting time is so hard just want the time to past quick. Its been helpful reading eveyones comments in the two week wait and in the scan really helps.

Thanks MSS, yes, both excited and scared at the same time!! Do you have a date for your scan yet?

Mine is 29 June which seems very far. What kind of sympthomes have you been having? Every small thing I'm googling which I know is the worse thing possible but just can not help it.

Yeah, I’ve been the same with Googling symptoms, it’s really hard not to. I wouldn’t say I’ve had anything too bad or consistent. I’ve had a tiny bit of nausea which went when I ate, I was sick once after I blew out a candle and the smell disagreed with me, and I’ve had a few twinges here and there. Before I did my test, I had Montgomery glands come up on my boobs. I’ve also had one occasion of a watery light brown discharge when I wiped but nothing since and the clinic didn’t seem overly worried about it when I called so hopefully that was nothing!

How about you? Have you had anything else aside from the leg pains?

Sore boobs. Getting tide quickly and feeling light headed. nothing else.

Hi TinyV Hope your well and had a good weekend. When i started my journey with care i was advise to take Q10 Co Enzyme supplements. I am still taking them just though if i should carry on or stop. Have you been taking these?

Hi MSS, I’m afraid I’m not taking those supplements so I don’t know. I’m just taking folic acid and vitamin d which I am continuing to take. Maybe you could ask the nurses at your clinic?

MSS, just very nervous about it. I’m looking forward to it in a way as then I can stop being nervous about it, if you know what I mean. But then I’m sure, even if everything is okay, I’ll just start worrying again about the next weeks to come. Will let you know how I get on!

Back from my scan and all went well. Everything is where it should be and we saw a nice flickering heartbeat. I am measuring 6 days behind however which, I’m not going to lie, I am worried about however the midwife wasn’t concerned at all and said no need to be rescanned or anything. So we’ve now been discharged from the clinic and I will self refer to the NHS this afternoon. I was so nervous going in so I’m glad this stage is over now!

Hi that is brillent news happy it went well. How many weeks did they say you was? Must have been a magical moment to hear the baby's hear beat.

Thank you! They said my gestational time is 7 weeks 2 days, but I’m measuring 6 weeks and 3 days. She was very unconcerned about it because everything looked good. She said we’re talking millimetres and that can massively swing the number of days.

Hey ladies just jumping on hope don’t mind am currently 8 days past transfer, but bein testing since day 4 lol I have faint line so just got to wait till Wednesday now to confirm it.

I saw ur message tiny I just wanted to say with my last cycle I was the same measuring behind like a week! I was worried and googled non stop but at another scan all dates caught up! So it’s nothing to worry about trust me!

I have one boy who’s 3 next week a 21 year old boy and 6 losses so this is all gose to plan will be another miracle and my last shot.

Thanks mms I bein testing there is line but faint well on morning could see it better afternoon could not so that worried me tbh.
Am only 9 days past but defo a line just faint just don’t seem to be gettin darker yet x

I tested myself on day8 not sure if it was morning or afternoon pretty sure it was late afternoon but showed not pregnant i had convinced myself that i was not pregnant. Is when test day came and i tested positive it was a big shock. Stay positive go with the morning tests. When your test day? Fo you have symptoms? Keeping my fingers crossed for U.
