Givingitatry I’ve just seen you’ve got a scan at 3pm. Hope you’re okay and I’m hoping it’s nothing pregnancy related and coming from somewhere else.

Re: April 2023 cycle buddies
Thank you everyone. The good news is the pregnancy is showing to be healthy and within the right dates. They can’t see the source of the bleed though and obviously that’s worried me a little. They said 10% women can have unexplained bleeds and either regularly or one offs. So now I wait for 1st June - I’m reassured but exhausted from today. It’s been a stressful day but glad everything looks ok even if the source of the bleed isn’t clear x

I saw pippys heartbeat today so I’m over the moon. Still a bit cautious but as far as the GAU and fertility clinic are concerned it’s looking like a viable pregnancy so been discharged.

Re: April 2023 cycle buddies
Givingitatry thanks for message I'm good thanks 7dp5dt still been relaxing not doing much at all. I did have a little melt down last night I got a towel out of the washing machine and it was ringing wet I then panicked that I picked it up with how heavy it was
my partner calmed me down and helped me rationalise it apart from that I have been quite relaxed. X

Re: April 2023 cycle buddies
Oh goodness, I’ve definitely had those momentary lapses too! A wet towel will definitely have been fine and after 3dp usually it’s done the main bit anyway so even more reason to feel relaxed. Hope you’ve still been bingeing the boxsets! It’s such a nervous wait but am sending lots of positive vibes into the world for you and your embryo xKim89! wrote: ↑Tue May 23, 2023 9:08 pm Givingitatry thanks for message I'm good thanks 7dp5dt still been relaxing not doing much at all. Morning ladies thought ad pop on it’s bein such a long long time but I needed the break as I could not accept what happened, at such a close stage.
I can’t catch up with u all but seen some of u are trying again and already in the 2week wait or pregnant congratulations!
I av just started my last cycle I have a lining scan on the 31st for my last embryo then I will be closing that chapter.
I have also had the blood clotting test am not sure what rite name is for it but it’s not come back yet taking ages, they suggested that with me having one loss after another. Hope all ok and good luck x

Re: April 2023 cycle buddies
Hi all,
Sorry to barge in here but I wanted to go back a month as I need advice from people who have got further than me.
Has anyone had steroid tablets as part of their protocol. Please can I ask did anyone experience stomach bloating to the point of being uncomfortable and unable to sleep and also a lot of discomfort in the back/kidney area. Since starting them on Sunday I have been super uncomfortable. I will ask the clinic when I have my lining scan Friday just looking for any one who might be able to offer explanation or suggestions
I hope everyone is doing well I have been cheering along from the sidelines
TIA

Re: April 2023 cycle buddies
Hi there, yes I’m on steroids but can’t say I’ve had the same. I get the insomnia (not pain related, just being wired) and muscle ache particularly in the thighs. I get a slightly sensitive tummy to begin but not bloated, more just a bit off food. Definitely speak to your clinic as expect you’re only on a low dose eg 10mg so you shouldn’t get anything too severe on that levelLuckEGirl wrote: ↑Wed May 24, 2023 4:25 pm Hi all,

Hi ladies, an update with all the anxiety and worrying. Do I have a blighted ovum is it a chemical pregnancy…I have been majorly emotional eating since egg collection and my clothes are all tight. I just couldn’t take the worrying anymore so I caved in and payed for a private scan that I went to yesterday at 6+1. An thank god!! I got to see my little bean flickering away. So feeling more relaxed and plan to eat healthy and get active walking. X

I feel at a bit of a loss at the moment as I have my booking appointment at the doctors on 14th June but that seems a million years away! I am trying to enjoy being in a bubble but I also can’t help worry something will happen. Please tell me I’m not mental lol
