Hi Ladies, I hope you are well. Congratulations Nark and Rosie82 on your scans. Super happy for you both. Hope you are doing something nice to celebrate.
Lindalu - all the best for your scan xx
I have some good and bad news. I have had my scan and I am only measuring 6w when I am 6 weeks and 4 days but we got to see a heart beat . Thankful to get to this point as this is the furtherest I have been able to get to. Praying my little one keeps fighting to survive. I had some bleeding yesterday with loads of cramping which was similar to a period - fresh red/then brown etc. They have found that I have some blood around the gestational sac which will need to come out, so I have been told it will make its way out over the next few weeks in the form of blood, clots and stringy stuff. They are rescanning me next Friday to check on the progress.
Hi RPishopeful, thanks for your good wishes. I’m sorry you’ve had a mixed experience today but I think it’s really encouraging that you’ve seen a heartbeat. Your dates are not really far out and I know that the embryo develops rapidly in those early weeks so there will be plenty of time for it to catch up. I think it’s good that they have seen the blood so at least you know to expect some bleeding. That’s good that you have another scan and it’s not too long to wait - although I’m sure it must feel like forever. I will be keeping everything crossed for you. X
Thank you Rosie82, that’s what the clinic said that they were positive as they had seen the heart beat so I am just holding onto that and praying the little embaby catches up by the next scan. The bleeding is worrying because it is surrounding the sac. They called and told me they think it is a hematoma so that blood will have to come away but the cramping was painful and seeing the fresh red blood was worrying. It could take weeks before it is fully out. I have a scan with Tommy’s on Tuesday. How are you? Hope you were able to do something nice yesterday to celebrate? X

Thank you. I am keeping everything crossed for you for Friday, a heartbeat is a good sign xx
Thank you Nark, hoping the little one continues to develop and catch up by the next scan x

AA28 and JSMS - good luck for your scan today. I have everything crossed for you both xx
I have been told I need to stay on steroids and progesterone until 12 weeks by Care but my miscarriage consultant wants me to stay on progesterone until 16 weeks. I will be on blood thinners for the duration of the pregnancy. Xx
I had some brown discharge yesterday so went back to EPAU they didn’t seem as worried as me. But I feel my nausea and all other symptoms I was experiencing have disappeared. I am worrying but no there is nothing I can do. Will just have to wait and see what the outcome of my scan is this afternoon.
Everything went well at the scan today, measuring exactly 7w and we saw the heartbeat.
AA28 hope everything gone ok or fingers crossed if it’s later this afternoon
X

How are you all feeling ladies? My sickness has really kicked in now, I’m struggling to keep anything down. Not sure if it’s connected to the OHSS or whether it’s just the morning sickness xx

Congratulations to all of you that had your scans today! Amazing news all round!

Thanks JSMS, how are you doing? When is your scan? X
Tomorrow afternoon, I’m doing ok thanks we went away for a long weekend so that was a good distraction. Can’t wait for tomorrow to be here now.
Out of interest when did they advise you to stop your progesterone pessaries?
I’ve been advised to take progesterone for 12 weeks following my fresh transfer x

It’s strange how the clinics vary with protocol, she reassured me today I can stop at the end of 8 weeks following fresh transfer.
I have been doing my own bit of research in the meantime. X

I feel fine which still puts me on edge . Slightly more lazy than normal and a tiny bit of nausea when I need to eat, otherwise symptom free. X

I've got a funny taste in my mouth, similar to when you eat an apple after brushing teeth x
It's probably morning sickness but I'm no doctor x

I am wondering if we are staying on here or move to another forum or make another topic to keep each other in the loop of what's going on after positive scans.

Yes I am just hope the pregnancies continue well for us all.
Me too. We have done so well. Went through all pain with needles etc, then transfer, then 2WW and 3 weeks of constant worry if we see a heart beat at 7w. We are heroines!

My symptoms are still coming and going but telling myself that must be normal now. Sometimes my nausea is quite bad and other times not there at all. Hadn’t had heartburn for a while but it’s back again today. Boobs are quite sore and I have twinges and stretching feeling in my uterus.
