Re: February 2023 cycle
Morning, wow you have had 7 sent off for testing, that’s amazing. This gives you both a real good chance of having at least 2-3 euploids. Rooting for good news in the next week or so for you. Then you can decide on next steps. I had the results back within 15 days of egg collection so hopefully you should be getting a call any day now.Givingitatry wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 8:57 pmThank youRPishopeful wrote: ↑Fri Mar 10, 2023 8:15 amHey, that’s amazing, I told you, some will pull through, they just need an extra day. 5 is an amazing result and gives you a good chance at testing and having at least 1 or 2 back that are euploid.Givingitatry wrote: ↑Thu Mar 09, 2023 11:55 am
So latest update is they are planning to test 52 others have moved on to have enough cells to biopsy and the other one is unlikely to get there but they will keep a watch. All are 2:2s which I’m happy with considering my age. I’ll get a final update this afternoon on how many the biopsied successfully and frozen. Then we wait until we hear but if we get 5 I’m hoping we have at least 1 euploid, maybe 2
I think the feeling low is partly the anti climax of it all plus hormones. It has been so much to take on right now and keeping it a secret from family has been tougher. This year though we will close the door one way or another and be able to get on with our lives.
Congratulations on PUPO! So glad it went smoothly and although the protocol is easier it’s still a lot for your body so make sure you’re kind to yourself! Your progesterone is blooming brilliant - hooray!! Making a nice lining and environment for your embryoI’ll keep an eye for your update in due course. I hate ‘stepping away’ as people are so kind to me on my journey but this round has broken me a little more. I sense it’s because I’m fearful of a similar issue to last time of chemicals or a MMC
I’ve been left quite battered from the ivf process and the unfairness of it all and know I’ll come out the other side but think this is bringing back all the anxiety I had before. It’s not for the faint-hearted but we have to know we tried everything before we can close the chapter I guess.
Take care and I’ll pop back on in a week or so to see what’s going onx
![]()
It could be a number of things and you have to do what’s right for you right now. IVF is such a rollercoaster of emotions but you should be proud at what you have done in this cycle so far already. You have been through so much and the process whilst giving good news can also be quite unkind. Be kind to yourself and take care. If you can, pop on and let us know your results. I will keep checking for your update![]()
we ended up with 7 in the end to biopsy (!) and 1 extra frozen one that wasn’t really worth paying to biopsy but kept it just in case. Hoping we have 2 euploids in there but even 1 gives us a shot. Just a waiting game now.
I hope everything is going smoothly for youIVF can be all consuming so I hope you’re finding time to still be you too
keeping all crossed for good news from you in due course! x
Glad your ohss has now gone. I hope you are feeling loads better in yourself as well with the hormones now exiting your system.
I caved and tested early yesterday at 11dp5dt and got a BFP. Just hoping and trusting that my body can carry this little one to term with it being on an immune protocol and a PGTA tested embryo. It’s been a hard few days as I was convinced my period was coming and that body just needed to bleed, so when I took the test I was very much surprised to see the positive.
Please keep us posted on your results xx

I am so sorry I have been off boards, I have had a hard week. Firstly, congratulations on having 3 euploid embryos, I am super happy for you. You have passed the biggest hurdle and you have 3 chances to try for a sibling for your little one. Such an amazing result. Bet you both are over the moon? Have you decided when you will do a cycle?Givingitatry wrote: ↑Thu Mar 23, 2023 11:24 amI don’t know how I missed this! HUGE CONGRATULATIONSRPishopeful wrote: ↑Mon Mar 20, 2023 7:27 am

Please keep us posted on your results xxyou must be over the moon and I’m so so excited for you! How do you feel? This was the ultimate cycle with immune protocol and a euploid embryo so I’m just incredibly glad the extra meds and time waiting has paid off for you as I know how exhausting it can be. It sounds like when I tested - convinced it hadn’t worked and yet a BFP was staring back at me. It was almost a nicer way to do it as was a huge surprise with zero expectations.
How is the wait for your scan going? I was besides myself so hoping you’re more relaxed than I was!

I have been feeling really rubbish over the last week as I was getting bad cramps, like close to period type ones and my symptoms were coming and going so I was just thinking the worse. Last year I experienced a blighted ovum so my body wouldn’t pass 2-3 weeks on the weeks indicator and held onto a gestational sac measuring 5 weeks. I convinced myself on Friday that the same was happening but I did another pregnancy test this morning and I have reached 3+ weeks. This is the furthest I have got in my IVF pregnancies and I am so thankful to get to this point. I have a long way to go yet but I have to believe my body can do this and we are meant to bring home a baby this year. I am pregnant today and all I can do is look after the little embryo nicely growing inside of me..
I have intralipids on Wednesday and my scan has been booked for 6 weeks and 4 days, 4th of April as the hospital want me to start aspirin from 6 weeks and care will only let me start aspirin when a viability scan has been done, so my scan is 2 weeks earlier than it would have been. My miscarriage clinic will do some reassurance scans and EPU will start seeing me from 8 weeks. It’s such a nerve racking time and I am praying for the best. Trying to remain relaxed as possible. I can’t believe I gave up on this little embryo

I’m so sorry that your experience before has had you worried this time. Completely understandable considering but we have to trust our bodies can do this. I used mindful ivf the pregnancy bit and helped a little sometimes. It’s really good news about the 3+, that was a hugely exciting time for me too! Felt like things were progressing but the scan is always anxiety inducing. I’m glad yours is coming up soon

Re: February 2023 cycle
Hi, I am so happy you have 3 chances at trying for a sibling. You know what worked for you before so hopefully Care can replicate the cycle and see if works again. You will have the right meds from the start to support you so I am rooting for you. I also understand the apprehension as it doesn’t guarantee success but at least you know the transfers are of euploid embryos so there will hopefully be a reduced chance of implantation failure / miscarriage. Your cycle will be here before you know it but take the time you need to process and make the decision when it’s right for you. But how exciting you could be starting in over a week - eeek. Have you decided if you are doing a cycle this month?Givingitatry wrote: ↑Tue Mar 28, 2023 10:20 pmThank you, we are over the moon to have 3 chances at a sibling.
I can’t believe I gave up on this little embryobut I am so thankful it’s doing what it needs to progress xx
I expect I’ll start with my next cycle so April but I reserve the right to chicken out. Been going through the motions about maternity leave ending so need to decide if I’m ready for all of this. I’ve a good 1-2 weeks to decide depending on my cycle (often is delayed when treatment is on the horizon).
I’m glad yours is coming up soonsounds like you are in safe hands and have various ways to help monitor your pregnancy. I’m just so over the moon for you
it’s a very special tone and I’m choosing to believe this will go very smoothly for you
x
Thank you for your message for reassurance and for having hope and belief on my behalf: My anxiety is off the chart and something just doesn’t feel right. I was referred to EPU for left sided pelvic pain. They did some tests and a scan which found a gestational sac with a yolk sac but it was just too early for a heart beat. I was 5 weeks and 4 days at the time. I am just worried it’s going to be a bad outcome on Tuesday like another blighted ovum but you are right, we need to trust our bodies can do this and are meant to do this. But I can’t even bring myself to dream as I am so scared of being heartbroken again.
My symptoms started off with cramping, a weird taste in mouth, waves of nausea and sore boobs but the sore boobs have now subsided which is worrying me. Boobs look slightly bigger but not really tender anymore. The other symptoms could be related to the medication. I also broke out with acne the day after intralipids which worried me. I can’t bring myself to do another pregnancy test as I have the fear Clearblue wont say 3+ weeks anymore. The scan is on Tuesday and I am hoping we are able to see a heartbeat, so I just need to get through this weekend.
Sorry it’s not a nice positive message when you are about to start a cycle but I guess I am just preparing myself mentally and it helps when I write it down. I hope you are keeping well xx
