Awaiting Scans July 2021

Got a scan early July, who else is anxiously waiting?
I’ve watched YouTubes on what the embryo is up to now and added the BabyCenter app.
I was anxious due to my Clearblue only saying 1-2 weeks the other day but if I hadn’t used that test I wouldn’t know any different so going to try and enjoy the stage I’m at and that I’ve got this far, that’s a miracle itself at my age!

Considering doing more tests soon just to check in still doing okay, decided against doing HcG tests as I figured it is what it is, the anxiety will be just before the viability scan!!’ Eeek...

Think this thread is going to be my journal as no one has seen it. if you do see it please do say hi. Feels insensitive to talk about waiting for a scan if people have had BFNs.

Symptoms all disappeared again, bloat feeling gone, this is so annoying! Said on the other thread I will try and keep busy this weekend but just want some positive stories of people who had faint BFP and lost symptoms, who went on to have healthy babies. I wish I was excited like other people.

Not quite july scan but mine 30th June so close enough how are you getting on in the wait? I'm classed as 6 weeks today and no nausea so I dont know if that's a good thing, others say its hit them by now, I think IVF makes you worry more than a normal pregnancy! Apart from sore boobs and tiredness I have literally no symptoms. So far stopped myself buying more tests to make sure my line is still there but I'm slowly losing the battle!

Yes I know what you mean, I should be 6 weeks tomorrow too. I’m waiting a bit longer for scan as it will be abdominal.

Nope not got symptoms apart from some stretch feelings at times, cravings occasionally and on off appetite. Thing is some of these symptoms have been from the Lubion injections I take or pessaries.

Been busy this weekend as was away, that occupied a bit of time.
Not too long a wait for you now, how are you feeling in yourself generally? I’m so anxious I just wish I could relax a bit more

Generally feeling ok, lower belly feels tight and having to eat small meals often, appetite not great. But I dont know if that's pregnancy or what's left of my OHSS. Nervous in general cause while I was in hospital they said my HB had gone up so started me on blood thinning injections and said it would most likely be for whole pregnancy due to now being high risk pregnancy. You doing ok?

How you had a nice weekend and a good distraction. I'm back at work today after 2 weeks off so that will keep me distracted.

I'm on dalteparin, they do sting like a sod after injecting! Would say I'm getting used to it, but I think my belly is getting so sensitive from them it stings just looking at them x

I’m pregnant! Now taken about 30 tests (not joking ). OTD was Monday this week. Scan is 12th July. I see you’ve got yours coming up quite a bit sooner! I will be 7 1/2 weeks, how does that compare to when you’re both having yours? I started panicking I wasn’t having symptoms this week but then got super tired today, which is annoying but reassuring. How have you kept yourselves from going crazy? Best wishes xxx

Congratulations on being pregnant and welcome to the scan wait!

My scan is on the 30th so not long! I will be 7 week 3 days when I have my scan surprisingly my wait has flown by, I was in hospital a week due to OHSS and then back at work is keeping me busy!

I will be just over 8 weeks then, I’m having abdominal so waiting a bit longer.
I work from home currently so that’s made things easier
Last time I waited until the clinic discharged us (after scan) and then tell drs but it’s up to you. If Currently no issues then its best to have scan and then inform drs but no reason why you can’t tell drs now and start booking appointments. I’m going to wait I’m so anxious it’s unbelievable. I mean most people who have gone to scans have been fine from what I’ve seen in posts but just feels like another worry.

Is anyone testing more than they should? I feel like a test junkie
It’s not going to help anxiety in any way but kind of reassured me until the scan.
Think I need to just stop now and realise it is what it is.
Migraine really does make us more focussed on symptom watching and looking into every detail

Yes, I am a massive test junkie. I do one a day still at 22dpo. I think I’ll keep going but know I -rob an;y shouldn’t. It puts my mind at rest a little… but not much!

I managed to avoid taking more tests since OTD until today I'm getting that nervous about my scan next week that this afternoon I did a clear blue digital just to make sure I'm heading the right way and my weeks have increased. Got a 2-3 week result on OTD and just got a 3+ week so its reassured me xxx

Oh brilliant news! Now rest easy till the scan. well done on not testing again since OTD too.

I haven’t used Clearblue as scared, I did get the 2-3 weeks last time but will hold out now I’ll get nervous if it’s not on 3+

Hi everyone

I posted this on June 2ww but added it here too in case you had any change to your dosages after BFP?

“How much Lubion or Progesterone was you prescribed a day please?

I am on 25mg a day and take pessaries but I don’t think the pessaries are absorbing right so wondering if 25mg a day is sufficient as a basic daily injection until levels naturally increase.”

It’s been 5 weeks since Egg Collection. I’ve still got 2-3 weeks on ClearBlue.

I’ve read lots of people got this and still went on to have healthy babies.

I expected 3+ as Egg collection was 24th May. I had two 4 day embryos back.

Anyone else experienced this and had a good result or midwives feedback is probably that these tests are unreliable?

My otd was today and positive. I did cheat and start testing early from day 8. My test are all faint but slightly, not much , darker each time.

My scan date is the 16th July, nervously waiting for that to arrive now!!

I think it will make me 7 week but need to sit down and work my days out. If the calculator is right, my due date is the 3rd march.

Trying not to get over excited just yet!

Your scan is only a few days after mine (12th!)

It’s really hard to not get excited. But I don’t think I’ll feel any more relaxed until the care scan, and maybe not even then.

Do you feel pregnant? I feel a bit nauseous, but only if o haven’t eaten in the first hour after waking. My nipples feel like bullets. I sometimes feel a bit twingy in my stomach… but not much else.

Close dates eeeks!

Some little cramps but seems to be when I over do it. Nippes are sore and up into my armpits. I've been really tired and needed the toilets lots.

I see you have been testing. I don't think I will but so far I've been a serial tester so not sure how long it will last.

I've got my intralipid book for Thursday.

Ooohhh roll on scan date! It can’t come wuick enough I need the reassurance that this is a healthy pregnancy especially with my silly Clearblue testing habit!
