So nervous about the scan

Had scan veey confused all told me was empty but had grown and doubled since last scan. Don’t even know how far I am! Last scan said 4 week 3 days and 6ml tidsy all said was 12 ml the sack x

Oh no Luckybabe thats crap. Have they suggested that it may not be a pregnancy? U probably have read up on this already but sounds like it could be a blighted ovum/anembryonic pregnancy - I really hope it isn’t but like you put on the other thread you would expect to see something by now wouldn’t you. I really don’t think you will get any answers before your next scan unless you had any physical signs. Hope things improve at your next scan but sounds like you are in unknown territory at the minute doesn’t it. Not what you want/need. Take care x

Was that not a private scan u had? This was what I was reading about gestational sacks. You would like to think they would be honest with you and tell you what it may/may not be wouldn’t you. I really hope things work out for u.x

On the 7th feb my clear blue went to 3 plus so that says am over 5 weeks then today is like another week on top of it so I must be just 6 weeks so maybe was too early to see anything

Had bloods done again today and another scan in morning Ano too days won’t habve changed owt but least I have good idea nowt there and know what to expect this weekend x

Well apparently am only measuring 5 weeks tioday! Wen on the 3rd feb I was 4 week 3 days! So I expected to be 5 weeks on the 7th 4 days after that scan I also did clear blue on the 7th it showed I was 5 weeks so all matched but today saying am stil measuring 5 weeks and empty sack! This is the thing I had sex in jan so obv conceived in middle jan found out pregnant 22nd vey faint had bloods done was low but doubling and I expected it as was early pregnancy so wud I be about 5 weeks now I’d i did conceive in jan x

He says will be about 8 weeks from period but roughly 5 from conceived if jan so we stil don’t know lol I cud pull my hair out. Scan showed 5 week but empty so will see Monday praying for miracle x

They gave me nothing. The bleed I had with her was actually the most Iv ever bled with any of my pregnancies. I actually never bled again after the first bleed as it absorbed itself by the 12 week scan. I just hope that’s what’s happening this time and they just can’t find it yet. Fingers are crossed for you!

Hi - congrats I had a 5day blast as a FET. You are calculated the same as a natural pregnancy. Below is the NHS calculator

If you had regular periods before then its calculated from the first day of your last period.

I’m well in myself but had a bit of a horror story with my epidural, ended up needing a blood patch and with no pain relief to give birth with anyway
All good though, little man is here safe and sound and that’s the main thing.
I’ve still got a lot of tingling in my leg but the hospital are doing scans to rule out everything

Sorry to hear about the horror story, but the most important you are both well now and little man is safe .
I am sure they investigate any issues and you are in good hands.
