Spring22 have things settled for you now? How are you doing emotionally and physically?

MSS how are you feeling now? Have you tried the counselling? Are you having a break before starting another cycle again or have you got a date in mind to try and start by?

NHawth7 how are you getting on? I bet you are getting a good bump now.

Just an update from me, my NIPT results came back low risk for Downs, Edwards and Patau’s which is good but still doesn’t put my mind at ease fully. I had a scan yesterday (11 weeks 4 days) and everything seems ok apparently 2 arms, 2 legs, brain and heartbeat, that’s all they could say with reassurance. Measuring where it should be and moving around a lot. I know this is amazing news but I’ve been here before with the same information at 12 weeks and things not go well afterwards so my anxiety is unreal!
I’m due to come off ivf meds tomorrow and I’m so ready as I still feel awful but it’s also scary because no one can tell me the placenta is actually working. I also have a 16 week scan booked in fetal medicine to check baby in detail so I’m hoping that helps my anxiety.
The plan is to tell my kids at Christmas when I’ll be around 18 weeks and we’ve had confirmation from the 16 weeks scan things are ok. We told them with our first miscarriage at 12 weeks and then a few weeks later baby had died. We didn’t tell them I was pregnant earlier this year to save them if something went wrong and we are glad about that because it affects them a lot. We want to try and be sure things are looking well before telling them this time and they will be so excited.

Fingers crossed for us that things keep going well and this is my last pregnancy. I’m so ready to be over ivf!

Nevergiveup that great news about NIPT results came back as low risk. How you getting on? How any weeks are you now?

Im well gone start my egg collection meds end of December and have the collection in January. My consultant has changed the protcol will have new meds which i will be taking this time too.

Glad you have a plan in place and you are looking forward.

I am 16 weeks and 2 days today. Went for my detailed scan in fetal medicine today to make sure everything is ok and they found no heartbeat, baby has probably been gone 3 weeks and I’ve had no signs at all that something was wrong. My tummy has been getting bigger, same with boobs and still having the heartburn, no bleeding or spotting since 11 weeks ish. The consultant and midwife were completely shocked that it happened. To say I’m devastated is an understatement!

Oh my god im so sorry to hear this nevergiveup i honestly though everything was looking great for you and going the right direction after reading your last message. I am in shock.
