Hello! How was your apt today? Hope it’s given you some clarity.

My scan went well today! Relief doesn’t even cut it… measuring a day ahead and we got some amazing pics. Can’t believe how much it looks like a baby now!

I’m completely drained and I think I’ll sleep well tonight. X

Yayyy that’s absolutely amazing!! I am over the moon for you! 😀😀 are you going to find out the gender when it comes to it?

Our appointment was informative & what we needed. He explained my L1&2 test results really thoroughly (no one has done that before, not in terms that we understand!) & he concluded I don’t need aspirin either so agreed with my nhs consultant. So I didn’t take any last night. Little bit nervous about it still & got another scan next Thursday. I think all is ok though, felt a bit headachey & sick this morning. Weirdly I have been sick a couple of times this past week, I think it’s cause I’m coming off steroids which can be anti-sickness.

I am telling my parents our news this weekend so super excited about that! X

So pleased your appointment gave you some clarity and reassurance - that was much needed!

Ohhh how exciting telling your parents!! We’re going to tell our siblings this weekend!

Yes, will probably find out the gender to just keep us going and make it a little more real for us. When’s your next appointment?

Sorry for the delay! I am still going to log on to the forum just not quite as much - my mind feels a bit full of all things pregnancy!!

It definitely was. I came off the aspirin Tues 3rd and had a scan last Mon 9th and all was well. Even though we had the NIPT we are having a gender scan this Thurs as I'll be 16+1 and we are going to do a 'gender reveal' meal the following Friday for our family. We will know the gender but it will be a fun way to tell them :) I am definitely more relaxed now but I still keep having the odd niggle and worry and I don't think that will ever go away. I suppose it's probably normal to think every day (several times a day) 'I hope everything is OK in there' ?!

How did it go telling your siblings? When is your next appt? x

Hey, how are you doing symptoms wise? My last bout of sickness was last Weds & I’ve felt pretty normal since. We announced our pregnancy to wider friends and family last night via social media and now I’m paranoid I’ve jinxed it. I wish we could somehow check on our babies every day! The paranoia and anxiety is unreal x

Hello! Symptoms-wise my sickness/nausea is almost completely gone but has been replaced my the most painful boobs ever! I had a scan on Saturday and was measuring 3 days ahead at 15+3, which gave us the reassurance we’ve needed but we’ve done the same… started to tell wider family and friends and it’s followed instantly my anxiety and paranoia that we’ve jinxed it! Madness isn’t it!

How many weeks are you now? When’s your next apt? My midwife appointment and consultant apt are both in a couple of weeks at 17 weeks. I’m consultant led due to lletz procedure on my cervix 10 years ago so I’m starting to feel a bit anxious about that too.

Hey! How are you doing? Ah that’s brilliant news 😊 it is madness really what are we like! But also totally understandable.

We will be 20 weeks on Weds & my scan is Weds morning. Nervous about it & we’ve found out at a private scan my placenta is anterior so I won’t be feeling kicks/movement as early as normal. So that’s annoying & again, doesn’t help with the anxiety! But just having to trust all is well. Our last scan was last Mon 30th. I also had LLETZ, last year, but my consultant said I had so little taken they wouldn’t measure my cervix length. Naturally me being me wasn’t happy so got a private scan to measure last week & all was fine. Is your consultant monitoring anything re LLETZ? When is your 20 week scan? We just see consultant when we have scan appts & not inbetween so yours sounds a little different Xx

Ohh 20 week scan on Wed! So exciting. I can’t wait to get ours over and done with now… lovely you had a recent scan too so they should’ve really been able to start to pick up issues if there were any.

Ahh join the anterior placenta club! How frustrating we’ve been waiting for those kicks when realistically we’ll be waiting even longer for them! Especially now most symptoms have disappeared.

So lletz-wise, I’ll have 2 cervical length scans - one this week at 18 and another at 22 weeks to ensure the cervix isn’t shortening but the consultant was pretty certain with us that with me only having had 1 procedure, it shouldn’t be an issue. It’s more precautionary. From what I understand, different hospitals do different things.

Hope your scan goes well on Wednesday. Mine will be a week on Mon on 27th Nov… I’m itching for another scan now. Xx

Hello 🤍 how are you?

We had our 20 week scan this morning and it was just amazing. Can’t believe it’s a baby with an actual face - I know that sounds mad but it made it so real for us.

All was well and hopefully will start to relax into it now, especially as I’m feeling movement most days now, especially at 5.30am!!

Hope you’re ok. We’re half way/you’re over half way now! Amazing hurdles x

Hey! Soooo sorry for the delay! My mind has been so consumed with Christmas and also baby I am just so rubbish at replying to messages all round. We are doing good thank you & are now 26 weeks. Can’t believe it. We bought our first few bits yesterday - pram, furniture & a next to me crib. It felt amazing to be out shopping, we were just never sure it would be us 🥹 we are having a HD scan next Saturday so we can see his little face 💙
How are you doing? How many weeks are you now? Done any shopping yet? 😊 xxx

Hello! How are you doing?

I’m 30 weeks now and let myself loose on buying bits a few weeks ago. Hoping to decorate the nursery next week. Can’t believe we’re in this position and it’s still so hard to believe we’re here… feeling very grateful and just desperate for a safe entry into the world in the next couple of months.

You must be about 32 weeks now?

Re: August/Sept 23 Scans

Hi there, I have got a question.
As we know sometimes after BFP there is a change of mucus down below. I always had leukorrhea, but this time I'm very dry there.
How it was in your case, if you remember?
Thanks!

Hello! Congrats on the BFP!

If I’m honest, I can’t remember but I’d say not to worry either way, especially with the meds probably playing havoc with hormones etc.

How are you feeling?

Same for me, I was doing the pessaries at the time so was difficult to tell. But I did phone the clinic after my BFP and spoke to the nurses about any queries. They were very helpful.

How is everyone? I am 35 weeks today cannot believe its nearly our time. Still praying 🙏 that everything goes well. Had some scares and complications so desperately waiting to see my baby 👶 🥰

@RGMJG hey lovely, been thinking of you nearing your due date. I hope you’re doing well.

I’ve had a few complications towards the end that I’m being monitored weekly for & it’s likely I’ll end up being induced.

Sending lots of positive thoughts and well wishes x
