Hi Marie08 Thanks for remembering . All went well, everything doing what it should be, was amazing to see the little heart beat! So was on a real high then got home and started feeling unwell with a funny throat, my mum is going through Chemo so Ive been testing a lot and I got a positive bloody covid test this evening!!! anxiety levels gone back up. FFS

Oh that’s great news about the scan and that all is okay but not so good about the Covid, my partner currently has it tested positive the other day so we’ve been staying away from each other and hoping it doesn’t get me. I hope all will be okay and you don’t get it too bad x

Thanks Marie08, its a nightmare isn't it, feels like numbers are going up again! Not too bad at the moment hopefully stays that way, hope you stay well xx quick questions has the nurse kept you on all meds up to 12 weeks?

My clinic said continue everything until12 weeks including steroids which I am dying to finish now. Giving me lovely round face.

Hey yeah I know way to many people testing positive right now but luckily enough everyone seems to be getting it very lightly and has been just like a cold so hopefully that’s al you get too
Yeah I’m also on my meds for 12 weeks I’m only on pessaries which I have take 3 times a day which is a real pain in the arse now but only about 3more weeks to go thank god

How’s everyone symptoms?

The weekend I was so Sock with headaches and feeling nausea, last few days not too bad except tiredness! I do think it’s normal but it’s hard to not panic even tho I mean nobody wants feel sick all day every day haha

Yes I'm the same Kh123, the steroids cause so much bloating and fluid build up.

Don't feel too bad so hopefully it will just stay mild. A literal pain in up the arse well in my case anyway not long though for you now.

Thought I’d hop onto this forum, looking for a bit of support and encouragement whilst waiting for our first scan. We had our BFP on the 14th which already feels like a lifetime ago, scan date is the 31st. Finding this wait so much harder than the 2ww, at least with that one you could choose to test early which I did 5dp5dt and got the positive…
Trying to symptom spot but not much to go on, my lower back continues to ache a bit and has done since a couple of days after transfer, other than that slightly achy boobs and a bit bloated but when you’re filling yourself with drugs that’s to be expected. Anyone got any advice on how to stay positively minded?

I had positive test on OTD 9th March and scan booked for 31st, due to previous chemical pregnancy in November 2021, we tested on CB every four days since and sadly on Saturday 19th had negative test despite a strong positive on Wednesday 16th, rang CARE today and had a blood test .. guessing to confirm my levels are low and it is a chemical again, has anyone had experience of repeated chemicals and if their protocols were changed for next cycle or went on to have a successful cycle?

Sorry to hear about your negative test following a strong positive, I’m afraid I don’t have any experience of a chemical so can’t advise. Could the test have been inaccurate though? I though hcg would remain with you a bit longer than that but I’m not an expert… I guess your blood results will give you a clearer picture x

I was shocked how it went from strong to nothing in three days … we did another test Sunday and that was also negative .. not sure if three tests would be inaccurate. I’m like you thought it would take longer to show a negative. Will see what blood results show tomorrow but not hopeful …

Hi all - hope you don’t mind me jumping on this thread.

I have my scan tomorrow and will be 7w 5d pregnant, had two large bleeds and been to EPAU twice now and they said everything was fine but I’m so anxious about tomorrow.

My wife is a great support and we are just hoping that everything goes well.

Any updates from you all? I’ve read all of your comments and what you’re all going through and I just want to send love and light to you all. Fertility treatment is so hard and we are all so brave for doing it xx

Morning

Forgot to update here yesterday- we had our scan yesterday, was so nervous before hand but pleased to say we have one healthy bean with a strong heartbeat measuring 7weeks. Been signed off from care and onto my own midwife now.
