I’m the same. The sickness is doing me. I just feel it constantly. Wish I’d just be sick and it be over with. I’m also tired a lot too. What symptoms have you got?

I get how you feel with the scan. Feels like I’ve been waiting forever but also want everything to be ok.

I’m sure you’ll be fine.

Same here with the sickness. It’s constant. Starting to think mine might be more acid reflux than morning sickness though. Fed up already with trying to force down water and food. My bowels have been all over the place too 😆-sorry probably TMI! Felt so exhausted today that just walking around has been an effort 😫.
Mo-hope you’re doing ok.

Hi everyone

I suppose I should be very grateful I haven’t had sickness like you guys are coping with - initially it worried me but I check and my mother didn’t have any sickness at all with me or my brother (and I should be careful what’s i wish for!)

I haven’t felt as though I’ve done sit ups but am quite bloated and if I twist in bed or sit up abruptly it’s quite uncomfortable. However that could be completely unrelated 🤷🏻‍♀️

The tiredness is getting worse so this holiday is perfect timing - planning to go and sleep on a beach for a week and then return hopefully relaxed for scan on 12th.

Thinking of you today for your scan Ella - I’ll have everything crossed!

Yay Ella that’s brilliant news! I’m so pleased for you! Did you get to see the heart beating? So that’s officially a discharge from the clinic isn’t it? I have the discharge letter now to give to my GP but waiting in hope of my scan.

Congratulations Ella!

Thank you, I still feel on cloud 9!
It’s the weirdest heartbeat I’ve ever seen but yes we got to see the heartbeat 😆. Truly amazing 😊. The yolk sac was there and the blob of a baby was the right size. I get to stop the delightful progesterone pessaries which I’ve been looking forward to!
I’ve got everything crossed for you tomorrow Fiona!

I can really sympathise with you-I was incredibly nervous too. As always they were lovely at care. Yes we got a picture! Our little blob was hiding quite high up in the uterus so the image is very grainy and virtually impossible to make out 😆. Still a special memento. Now just to get out of this more dangerous first trimester!

Will be thinking of you tomorrow Fiona! Are all three of us at Care Nottingham? I really hope it is all good and you can start to hopefully relax.

Oh and I am also desperate to stop the pessaries - had to put one in on the flight over and I could live happily without ever having to do that again!

Yey-congratulations! That’s amazing news! So pleased for you. Are you stopping your progesterone-I’ve been worrying a bit that it’s too early! Did you see the heartbeat?
Hope you’re having a lovely holiday Mo

Thank you!!! It was a magical experience. I cried! We saw the heart beat and it was so clear. Even saw the little arms and legs. Each day really does count 😍

They told me to use the last of what I’ve got which isn’t many. I’m quite nervous to stop them it’s a bit like a safety blanket. Although I can’t wait either

Hi Fiona and Ella

Hope you’re both doing well and the sickness is getting better?

Just had my scan this morning and am gutted not to have been able to make it a hat trick. No heartbeat and appears stopped growing about 2 weeks so I am classed as a “missed miscarriage”. Nurses wonderful but I have to go for another scan next Friday to confirm. Have to have two normal periods and then we go again with a frozen one.

So disappointed as I was really feeling quite positive but at 42 this being our first attempt and a fresh transfer we really were challenging the statistics for this one to be viable and given what most people have gone through, we hadn’t really earned our stripes yet. Thankfully we have 4 frozen embryos so I guess we regroup and try again.

I’m so thrilled for the two of you!

Ah Mo, I’m sorry to hear that! I’ve been waiting to hear from you.

You still have 4 frozen though so you’ve still got a fighting chance! I really hope things work out for you!

Hey Ella. Hope you’re ok?

Have you been sent something regarding the harmony testing? Just wondering whether you’re doing it or not?

Hi both,
Mo, I was absolutely gutted for you to hear what happened. I can’t even begin to imagine what that must have felt like. How are you doing now?
Fiona, I’m not too bad thanks. How are things with you? We are going to have the nhs screening and then probably have private testing done if problems are raised.

Thanks Ella, it’s all part of the journey I guess and my body clearly can do the job (too well - having to have some help with the MC so in hospital tomorrow). This all bodes well for next time which will hopefully be a frozen transfer in January. Honestly everyone at Care could not have been any more wonderful if they tried. We are now considering PGA testing on the Frosties given I am an old bird and chances of MC were always going to be high but then we smashed the statistics getting to where we are!

I’m right there really pulling for you guys though - has the sickness eased up?
