Care manchester spring summer babies

#1 Post by Flash19 » Thu Nov 28, 2019 5:16 pm

Hi there,

I've met some lovely ladies through this forum and it's been amazing to share our journeys but I was just wondering if there was anyone at Care Manchester who was due to have a baby in spring aummer. I'm 14 weeks and live in South manchester so wondered about any coffee buddies?? I'm due at the end of May 2020!

Thanks,
Fx

Hi Sophia,

Congratulations! I remember the wait for the 12 week watershed and the more I wished time to pass the slower it went! I'm 16 weeks today and I still find myself looking for he next milestone all the time although it does get easier the more checks and time you get under your belt! At your stage I just decided to enjoy the journey and worry about anything if I needed to at the time. This is my first pregnancy after three transfers so it's long awaited but so exciting! How about you?

Hi Sophia,

That's completely normal and I think any check or scan you do get a bit nervous. I think having had to cross so many hurdles to get where we are you tend to expect it not to be plain sailing. Good luck with your scan and let me know how it goes 😁😁 so exciting!

We've just had our 20week scan which was good to get past too. My husband won't let me find out what it is although I was sooo tempted! But all was as it should be which was a relief. Just want the baby here in my arms now. Will you find out the gender?

Hi and sorry for the late reply! So will you not find out?

We opted for a NIPT test which confirmed we were having a boy (we wanted to find out anyway) so got my 20 week scan next week so touch wood they will confirm what we've been told already x
