Using AOA with ICSI

#1 Post by Gemma123 » Thu Sep 12, 2019 10:20 am

Morning All

I’m new here, I am going through my second round of ICSI and wondered if anyone has had AOA (artificial Oocyte activation) included in their treatment to help fertilisation?

Any positive outcomes?

TIA x

What is that? I haven’t heard of it before.

Hey, I’m not too sure myself but was recommended that it would be beneficial for us, to help to fertilise the egg. We’ve had one round previous, with a good number of eggs collected but only a small amount fertilise. It didn’t stick in the end so perhaps using AOA this time round will help. I’m open to it , as doctor feels it will help.
