Congratulations Lisamarie!! Our bundle of joy was born on the 16th, also a surprise girl Evie Grace. Got discharged the next day after elective c-section as they thought was going to be huge….was 7lbs 8 🙄and recovering well. Currently Evie won’t sleep at all unless she is in your arms, but very ear...

Re: November ‘23 babies ☺️

Hi everyone, sorry for the late reply it's been busy! Baby Lexie Jessie (LJ) was born on the 7/11 at 39 weeks weighing 6lb 10. She is a little cutie and we were surprised she was a girl (we didn't find out the gender but were both convinced boy!) The elective c section was okay and it was quick, re...

Re: November ‘23 babies ☺️

Hi everyone, I have baby news…. I ended up having a planned c-section at 37+4 as baby’s growth had really slowed and the doctors were worried how she would cope with a prolonged induction / labour. We welcomed our beautiful baby girl, Ida Rose to the world on 26 October at 12:31pm weighing 5lbs 4oz....

Re: Waiting list 2022

Hi all I was previously on this post but pregnancy ended in stillbirth. So here we go again. Thought I'd try get my meds cheaper and seen lots of people mentioning asda. I called asda and it's by far the cheapest however she mentioned they might not be able to get buserelin. Did anyone find this or...

Re: November ‘23 babies ☺️

Hi all, How is everyone getting on? So it’s getting very close now - exciting and scary at the same time! 😃 I have had lots of scans and monitoring. Everything is looking fine but the baby’s growth is slowing slightly and due to all my other complications they have given me a date to be induced earl...

Re: November ‘23 babies ☺️

Hi AA28, Glad your scan went well and you got some photos. Can you feel the baby moving with an anterior placenta? Did you get your GTT results straight away or do you have to wait? I have mine on Friday as well as my 28 week scan. I had a midwife appt yesterday and heard the heartbeat and baby was...

Hi all, Love the sound of the nursery colours JSMS and RPishopeful. I have chosen my curtains (blush pink) and having a feature wall with wall paper with animals in balloons and then neutral paint for the rest. Getting rid of old furniture this weekend so hoping to make a start on decorating over th...

Re: November ‘23 babies ☺️

Hi everyone! All fine here, I had a private scan at 24 weeks and had some 4D pictures of the baby which were amazing to see (although she looks a bit like an alien 😂). I’ve got extra growth scans with NHS from 28 weeks and seeing midwife regularly for BP checks so lots of appointments! I had a bit o...

Hi AA28, That’s fantastic news on your scan and glad to hear you are doing well. Hope you have a lovely holiday knowing everything is ok! Re: November ‘23 babies ☺️

Hello ladies. Sorry I wasn't talking much recently, I was waiting for the scan etc. I've got an update on my 20 week scan. It was actually 20+6 scan today. Baby was found without a heartbeat, died over month ago, so looks like another missed miscarriage. By the end of this week I should probably gi...

Re: November ‘23 babies ☺️

Hi JSMS, sounds like your baby is thriving! 😃 The main things is that everything is looking healthy, there are bound to be variations in size and if I understand it correctly, that means baby is still in normal range just the top end of it? Hope your diabetes check goes ok. Keep us posted X

Re: November ‘23 babies ☺️

Hi everyone, My 20 week scan went well, everything looking perfect with the baby, measurements all in range and she is definitely confirmed as a girl! 💖 Only minor issue is that my placenta is low lying but they said there is plenty of time for it to move and not to worry about it yet. Great to hear...

Re: November ‘23 babies ☺️

Hi AA28, that’s great news you’ve heard the heartbeat, I found that really reassuring to know the baby is still there, without necessarily having to have a scan. What a shame you have been poorly again. How are you coping with work? We’ve told quite a few people the news now and have also told my ma...

Thanks! Yes I’ve just come back from Asda and bought a couple of little things ☺️ It feels like it’s getting a bit more real now. Re: November ‘23 babies ☺️

Hi JSMS, That’s great news your glucose came back ok and you got to hear the heartbeat. I also had my 16 week midwife appointment yesterday and also got to hear the heart beat which I wasn’t expecting so that was a nice bonus. I have my private scan tomorrow but feel less anxious now I’ve heard that...

Hi all, Consultant appointment today was ok but a lot to take in. Dr said I should continue inhixia injections throughout pregnancy and said no issues with natural delivery just need a gap of 12 hours between injection and pain relief such as an epidural. Apparently they can put you on a hormone dr...
