Re: February 2024
Welcome Sarah, I hope this journey gives you your positive. Any questions you might have, I'll try my best to answer them. I'm at the new cheshire clinic, I was in the old chester clinic for my last cycle so a bit of a change. Steph I've got my fingers crossed that the increase in meds makes a diffe...

Re: February 2024
Hi Steph, sorry to hear about your loss. My little boy was an ivf pregnancy on my second ivf cycle but he was my 5th transfer. I've unfortunately had 3 losses previously, so it's been a bit of a long journey but on a positive note all definitely worth it in the end! Are they changing anything for yo...

Congratulations Purple, I hope you and your little girl are all nice and settled at home. I know what you mean, I still have moments where I look at him and can't quite believe he's mine and he's here.
I hope everyone else is doing well?xx

Re: Anyone had negatives right up until test day?
Hi, I remember during my 2WW reading about people getting BFPs at 4/5 days past transfer and feeling really down. My last pregnancy I had a very faint line at 9 days past which I thought was a shadow, this line wasn't a clear BFP until 12 days past. I am currently sat cuddling my 11 day old son, so ...

Hi Elenora, how are you doing? I bet it feels great to have finished work, time now to relax before baby arrives. That's great that your placenta has moved, it must be nice knowing you dont need a c section but also have a date if baby doesn't decide to arrive sooner. I've had a busy few weeks, afte...

Re: Summer miracles 2023
Hi all, I hope everyone is doing OK, exciting that due dates are getting closer! I've had a busy few weeks, after being diagnosed with gestational diabetes at 36 weeks, baby Reuben decided he was arriving at 37 weeks with a speedy delivery! After 8 days in the SCBU for breathing difficulties, he is ...

Hi all, Hope you're all doing well? Sorry for the long delay in replying, I can't believe how time is flying! Purple and Leezo, that's great that your growth scans are going well, sounds like you've got some little chunks cooking away. I'm measuring a little smaller than you both but still on track,...

Hi Elenora, No need to apologise for the delay in replying, time seems to be flying all of a sudden! We went for the oyster 3 travel system and I think we've just about got all the other bits now. Are you all sorted now? I bet it was nice to choose some new babygros etc, there's something incredibly...

Re: Oct 2022 2ww
Hi Elenora that sounds like a lovely Easter! That's great that your GTT was negative, I had mine back this weekend which was negative but I have been told I've got mild aneamia so need iron tablets. That's lovely that bump is getting bigger and you got to hear the heartbeat. I'm a little tired but f...

Re: Summer miracles 2023
Hi Bean, the GTT was fine - they take bloods, give you a syrupy drink then you sit for 2 hours and they take bloods again. The only thing I would suggest is taking a snack for after the second blood test and before driving, I found I felt a bit faint as I couldn't eat from midnight the night before....

Re: Summer miracles 2023
Sorry to hear you've been so poorly Bean, I hope you're on the mend now. I'm glad your JohnLewis appointment went well, it feels like such a long list of things to buy. Im having similar anxieties about buying items but I think it's only natural with the journey we've been through. I thought I'd be ...

Hi all, sorry I've been off the boards for a while, the last couple of weeks seem to have flown by! Just catching up on the messages, and I'm glad to read that everyone is doing well. Hi Elenora, sorry it's been a while - I don't know where the last few weeks have gone too! I'm doing good thanks, had my 27 week scan on Wednesday and baby is growing as expected. I've started painting the nursery and ordered a few bits this week so it's all beginning to feel real now. How are you d...

Re: Summer miracles 2023
That's great news that your levels are in the normal range Bean. Aw it must be lovely to start recognising movement patterns, I'm still finding that movement is very inconsistent. Have you seen the consultant yet Hannah or is the midwife finding out for you? I have been on 150mg aspirin daily since ...

Re: Summer miracles 2023
A John Lewis appointment sounds like a fab idea Bean, I've been to look at prams etc in a baby warehouse shop and it all felt a little overwhelming. I've chosen the pram I want but think I'm going to wait a bit longer before buying it. I'm glad you're feeling better now, yes I've had my 20 week scan...

Re: Oct 2022 2ww
Thank you for the advice, I'm thinking of starting my leave on the 23rd June which is 10 days before my due date. I teach in a special school but have been put on office duty so am thinking I should be OK to work longer. I'm really not sure if I'm honest, but am thinking I can make it earlier if nee...

Re: Summer miracles 2023
Hi Bean, I'm sorry to hear that the consultant appointment wasn't helpful. I agree with purple that I think consultants are more aimed towards the clinical side of things and providing facts. I had a similar appointment with my consultant yesterday where she outlined all the additional risks due to ...

Re: Pregnacare and clexane
Easier said than done I know but try not to worry, it's definitely true that everyone is different with their symptoms. I'm currently nearly 22 weeks and I've had very few symptoms, I had very mild nausea but only after 8 weeks and it only lasted a week otherwise I've had none of the typical symptom...

Hi Bean I'm glad your appointment went well and you've got your next one booked. Do you have your 20 week scan soon? I turn 35 just before my due date so may end up with the extra tests myself, I'm hoping I'll know more after seeing the consultant. How are you feeling?x
