Hello, when we did PGS we did a regular IVF cycle through egg collection & growing the embryos. Then they took a few cells from the embryos to send off for testing - meanwhile the embryos were frozen. For us, testing took 3 weeks. While you're waiting, you'll bleed and start your cycle. If the t...

Hello, PGS is a generic term for genetic screening that looks for chromosomal abnormalities. Methods of testing include: NGS (newest) aCGH FISH (oldest) You would have to ask your clinic which test method they use. Here's a scientific article comparing NGS and aCGH.
